Tomas is Board Director, Secretary-General & Community & Membership Committee Chair of CAFT, and founder of D.Q.D Consulting Co., Ltd., Brixie International Pte. Ltd., Advisor to Chairman at IG Group, co-founder and CEO of Pi Pay Plc., as well as Mentor for 500StartUps (500Global), and Independent Board Director & Chairman of Audit Committee for FWD Insurance (Cambodia).

During his 8+ years of leadership at Cambodia’s fintech mover & shaker, Pi Pay has grown to now Cambodia’s pioneering FinTech Company in its own niche segment. Under his management and facilitation, Pi Pay has successfully concluded a merger with SmartLuy PLC., and an acquisition transaction with Smart Axiata Co., Ltd., a member of Axiata Group Berhad, one of Asia’s largest telecommunications Group.

Concurrently, Tomas pursues interests and efforts mainly aligned with support of Cambodian fintech scene as well as other start up interests that are gradually coming to life, notably Brixie International Pte., Ltd., Fractional Ownership and Tokenization of Real Estate assets, to which DQD played significant role in seeding rounds of operations.

 

At DQD, Tomas is instrumental mainly in expansion of DQD network and clientele, its public-private partnerships and development & interaction with startup communities.

Aside of her role at DQD, Weena D. Llona is the Executive Director of the Cambodian Association of Finance and Technology (CAFT).

Weena hails from the Philippines and worked in setup and build of several outsourcing startups before coming to Cambodia. Weena’s expertise in the outsourcing field spans in numerous industries including Healthcare, Sports Analytics, and Food & Beverage in having served as Operations and Account director on small and large-scale private organizations with multi-cultural, multi-national and diverse background staff members both in the Philippines and Cambodia.

As CAFT Executive Director Weena is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs and strategic plan of the association as well as driving fundraising, marketing, and community outreach efforts in coordination with the board.

With skills in managing resources, developing and implementing operational plans and ensuring that procedures are carried out properly, accompanied with strong assessment skills to any DQD needs, Weena is always finding ways to contribute to the big picture by ensuring daily operations run smoothly and as efficiently as possible.
